Drug Addiction: Drug Addiction Facts

Question: If somebody has a drug addiction in the presence of jesus, will that prevent him from sinning?

I don't believe that simply being in the presence of Jesus would *prevent* a person from sinning (notice the money changers in the Jewish Temple did not stop until forced out of the building, found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 21). God will rarely, if ever, forcibly stop someone from doing something that's wrong for the simple fact that He gave us free will, and it's up to us to decide if how we're going to live, and then receive the consequences for our actions (right or wrong).
