Drug Addicts: Drug Addiction Facts

Question: Why is it so easy it so easy for people like drug addicts, convicts, ex convicts to find god.?

I see them walking around everyday hand out church fliers with shirts that " jesus has done great things with me ". I'm just curious to know if people find god, what does he actually say when you find him. Does he say "you're it ".

People who have experienced great falls often find themselves in need for forgiveness. Jesus offers forgiveness to the truly repentant. Thats what's so wonderful about Jesus. he is willing to give you a clean slate if you turn away from evil.

With some people it is the final door, they feel like there is no one left for them then they see that god is there. in jail assume they have sunday schools and church meetings to reconnect themselves to the "right " way to live since our country was founded by puritans. if not christianity then other religions. for many religion is the only way they feel whole and their only real connection to either love, human contact, hope for a better future, and security.

People who are proud have no use for God. They THINK they can do it all on their own. That is why the most likely people to find God are the ones who have been run down by drugs, jail and other problems in life. Once someone realizes that life is too hard to travel alone, they are then in a position to accept and know Him. God was always there, but they were too blinded by the world to see him. What God says you when you finally find him? "What took you so long, I have been waiting for you. I LOVE you! "

This "God " you speak of is a way to help people when they cannot understand who they really are. Though I am an atheist I still believe God is necessary for people who need something to fill something in their lives because even if he doesn't exist, the idea of him helps many people. He helps those who fear the unknowable and He helps those who need an explanation/ answer for their problems.
