Question: What are drug addicts and alcoholics thinking when they have kids?

Doesn't someone explain to them what trouble they are causing the world and future generations by doing so?

"causing the worldand future generations by doing so " im the daughter of a man whos been addicted to cocaine and alchohol since before i was born,and i am actually very thankful because its helped me and my dad so much. while i did grow up alot faster than other kids,ive learned so many life lessons andbecome somuchmore grateful and happy. i neverwouldve been likethis if my dad didnt go through the struggles he is going through now. even though our lives were so very hard. so while having a parent whos an addict messes up somekids, for others its almost a blessing.
